About Us
UET was formed as a spin out corporation originating from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and National Space Biomedical Research Institute (NSBRI) funded research activities to enhance medical education for non-physician astronauts and cosmonauts on the International Space Station. State of the art computer and video based educational tools were developed to increase medical care capabilities in the space program. The space-based research efforts required the development of unique, high-fidelity photo-realistic anatomic modeling capabilities that can be now used for broader applications. UET combines the best of the space programs research efforts to enhance the learner educational experience, especially for the non-expert audience. We now specialize in production quality 3D animation and graphic design services that demonstrate medical conditions, procedures, or anatomy for use in education, industry, or legal proceedings.
